James Joyce Bridge

This watercolor shows the newest bridge across the River Liffey in Dublin, the James Joyce Bridge. On this occasion I was struck by how the crisp white outline of the bridge stood out against the grays of the background. I also tried to capture the brisk atmosphere of one of those bright but cloudy days that are so common in Dublin in the summer.
